Assemble at Changi Airport for your flight to Beijing. Upon arrival, take the coach to Datong, province of Shanxi also known as “China’s Coal City”,

After breakfast, visit Yungang Grottoes, one of China’s 4 grottoes that have been listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. (Including tram ride). There are 45 major caves, along with 51,000 niches housing the same number of Buddha statues. Next visit, the Jiulong wall. Thereafter, proceed to Xuankong Monastery. It was built 1,400 years ago and it is the only temple that consists of the Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism elements.  It hangs mid-air from a cliff surface. The renowned Tang Dynasty poet, Li Bai had described the architecture of the monastery as “spectacular”. Next visit Yingxian Pagoda, and learn more about China’s largest and oldest wooden tower.

After breakfast, take the coach to Yanmen Pass, which is known as "the first pass of China" and is an important pass in the Great Wall and a key symbol in history. Ascend up the Great wall of China, the scenery makes the never-ending steps worthwhile. Next proceed to Ningwu Luya Mountain Scenic Area and also visit the source of Fenhe River. It has been known as the first sanctuary of Shanxi.

After breakfast, visit Wannian Ice cave (including tram ride). The ice cave was formed during the Cenozoic Quaternary glacial period and has a history of 3 million years. It is the largest ice cave ever to be discovered in the country. The cave is filled with ice shaped as icicles pillar, waterfall, flowers, buddhas etc. Next visit a suspended village; it has gradually gain attention in the recent years because of its unique geographical location and distinctive architecture. The entire village faces the canyon and the first half is mostly supported by wooden pillars. The village is paved with wooden boards and is less than one kilometer long, forming a rare “Skywalk” landscape. Then proceed to Mt. Wutai, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.  It is one of 5 World Buddhist sacred sites and first among the four renowned Buddhist Mountains in China.

After breakfast, visit the largest Huangjiao temple in Mt. Wutai. It is also known as the “Little Potala Palace”. The temple is magnificent, with vibrant red columns, walls, golden glazed tiles, it gives the temple a rich and luxurious atmosphere. The palace used to be a place where the emperor of the Qing dynasty come and worship. Next head to Xiantong temple, the largest aboriginal temple. Visit the tower temple and pray for wisdom. Visit a statue temple, the largest Wenshu statue in Mt wutai. Head to Wuye temple to make a wish and ask for blessing. Next, take a tram ride up to Mt Wutai and head to Pingyao. At night at your own expense, watch the “Pingyao show”

After breakfast, visit the ancient city of Pingyao ( including tram ride) which has been rated as a “World Cultural Heritage” by UNESCO. Entering the ancient city is like going back in time, regardless of the street layout, shops, city buildings, temple and government houses. It has retains its original appearances since the Ming and Qing dynasty. Take a stroll at the Wall street to relive the prosperity and liveliness 200 years ago. Here you can find a lot of antique treasures left by Jin Merchants. Taste local flavour snacks such as ramen, roasted pork, glutinous rice etc at your own expense. Visit China first private bank. Next, visit the filming site for the movie “Raise the Red Lantern”. It consists of 6 big courtyards, 19 small courtyards and 313 rooms. The Qiao Family Courtyard is a shining pearl in the history of the Qing Dynasty’s northern folks. Head to Taiyuan for dinner and taste special flavour pasta, including watching Shanxi folk song performances, Jin operas.

After breakfast, visit a Shanxi museum. Next at your own expense, visit the Coal Museum and take a ride on a mini train through the stimulate mine shaft to experience the whole process of coal mining. Thereafter, we will visit Vinegar Cultural Park. At the cultural park, you would understand the history of the vinegar process.. Next, at your own expense visit the Jin Ancestral Hall. After that, visit Liuxiang Business District. At night enjoy international buffet at the Pullman Hotel for dinner.

早餐后,抵达后前往中国四大石窟群之一,被列入《世界文化遗产》的云冈石窟(含电瓶车),石窟依山而凿,东西长一公里,现存主要洞窟45个,大小石像51000尊,是佛教艺术雕刻的惊世佳作。接着参观中国最大的九龙壁。之后乘车前往浑源,参观天下奇观,古建筑奇迹悬空寺,古寺已有1400年历史,是仅存的佛、道、儒三教合一的独特寺庙,建在悬崖峭壁上,悬在半空之中,有凌空欲飞之势。接着游览宏伟壮观的应县木塔,进入塔内深入了解中国最大最古老的木结构塔。

早餐后,前往雁门关游览。雁门关因被誉为“中华第一关”,是长城的的一个重要关隘,在历史上来说是一个非常重要的标志,现在仍有许多的遗址,来了这里才知道这里才是真正颇有一种边塞的雄浑气势,站在雁门关上真有一夫当关的感觉,感觉非常的豪迈,在关口的时候看到这些历史的痕迹,感觉很震撼,仿佛回到了以前的战场。一路徒步进去,台阶有很多,但是风景很美!长城上,吹吹风,远望连绵的群山,都舍不得离开了。随后前往宁武芦芽山景区,参观汾河源头景区汾河源头是山西人民的母亲河。源头有一水塘,塘上石壁刻有“汾源灵沼”四字,自古以来就有三晋第一圣境之美誉。晋北古刹雷鸣寺因汾水从石崖下龙口喷出时声如雷鸣而的得名,庙宇依山而筑,宏大巍峨

早餐后参观万年冰洞(含电瓶车)万年冰洞形成于新生代第四纪冰川期,距今已有300万年的历史。是全国迄今发现的最大的冰洞,也是世界上迄今永久冻土层以外发现的罕见的大冰洞。由冰形成的冰柱、冰帘、冰瀑、冰花、冰佛、冰床、冰钟、冰人、冰菩萨等,千奇百怪,堪称一个冰的世界。随后参观悬空村因其独特的地理位置和富有特色的建筑,在近几年渐渐出名,被传称为现在的“悬空村”,整个村子面向峡谷,前半部分多以木柱支撑,悬空而建。在其前面加宽,铺就木板,便是村中长约不到一公里的道路,形成了罕见的“空中栈道”景观。随后前往五台山。前往参观世界文化遗产、世界五大佛教圣地之一、中国四大佛教名山之首五台山

早餐后,参观五台山中规模最大的黄教寺院,有“小布达拉宫”之称的菩萨顶,寺庙壮观恢宏,红柱红墙,金色琉璃瓦,金碧辉煌,富贵豪华,不逊于皇家宫室,也曾经作为清朝帝王来此祭拜的行宫。接着游览最大的青教寺庙显通寺。参拜塔院寺,祈求智慧。参拜殊像寺,五台山最大的文殊像。朝拜五台山中香火最鼎盛,最灵验的五爷庙许个愿,为您和家人祈福。接着特别安排乘搭索道,登五台山的小朝台黛螺顶朝拜五台山的五方文珠。之后前往平遥。晚上自费观看《又见平遥秀》。注:乘搭索道登黛螺顶为赠送景点,若遇大风雪或索道关闭不再以其它景点代替。

早餐后前往游览被联合国教科文组织评为“世界文化遗产”的平遥古城(含电瓶车);进入古城内恍如时光倒流,无论街道的布局、店铺、市楼、庙宇、官衙的民宅,至今仍保留着明清时原有的面貌。漫步两百年前中国的华尔街明清一条街重温200年前的繁华与热闹,在这里可以找到不少晋商遗下的古玩珍藏,自费品尝到平遥的当地风味小吃如莜面、烤佬佬、油糕、红面湖湖、水煎包、山药丸则等等。游客可以参观中国历史上第一家私人银行日升昌票号、登上世界文化遗产平遥古城墙及中国现存最完整的县衙平遥县衙,前往游览“大红灯笼高高挂”的拍摄地乔家大院。参观乔家的6个大院,19个小院,313间房屋。乔家大院是中国清代北方民居建筑史上的一颗璀璨明珠。后赴太原晚餐品尝特色风味面食含制作表演及观赏山西民歌、晋戏、绝活绝技表演。

早餐后,山西省博物院位于太原市汾河西畔滨河西路北段13号,前身为1919年创建的山西教育图书博物馆,此后屡次更名。1953年起称山西省博物馆。新馆于2001年8月10日奠基开工,2004年竣工,定名为山西博物院,为国家“九五”重点建设工程,也是山西省建国以来投资规模最大的文化基础设施,是现代化综合性博物馆。前往自费参观煤炭博物馆。乘坐小火车亲身体验模拟矿井、感受矿工采煤的全过程。接着参观醋文化园,了解山西老陈醋的制作工程与历史工艺。随后自费游览中国第一家皇家祠堂、有“山西小江南”美誉的晋祠。接着游览柳巷商业圈。今晚特别在铂尔曼酒店安排西式国际自助餐。
