Meals On Board

Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland.

Lunch/Dinner

Upon arrival, go on a city tour of Reykjavik and take in Harpa, an impressive concert hall, Parliament House and Hallgrimskirkja, the largest church in Iceland and one of the key landmarks in the city with its exceptionally unique design. Stop by the futuristic glass-domed Perlan and historical Hofdi House. Continue to Blue Lagoon and the world-renowned Blue Lagoon Geothermal Spa, set in a black lava field with pleasantly warm and mineral-rich seawater. Enjoy a relaxing dip in the therapeutic waters and look out for white buckets, containing the famous silica mud, located throughout the lagoon to complete your spa experience.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

This morning, depart for your flight to Greenland. Arrive in Ilulissat, the 3rd largest city of the country located on the shores of the UNESCO World Heritage listed Ilulissat Ice fjord. As you approach Ilulissat, enjoy the magnificent sight of the icebergs at Disco Bay. Some are just large-scale lumps of ice while others are almost towering above you. Later on, go on a walking tour to the Old Settlement of the Icefjord at Sermermiut. See Inuit relics and artifacts from 4,000 years ago and learn about the Inuit way of life and customs before the Europeans came to Greenland. During your walk, you will pass by the “Witches Gorge” which provides a sweeping view of the stunning ice sculptures of Icefjord.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

After breakfast, embark on your boat tour to Eqi Sermia Glacier, located 80 kilometres north of Ilulissat. The boat will take you north along the coast passing through Bredebugt, the settlement of Oqaatsus, and the big fjord system of Pakitsoq where whales and seals are often spotted. The highlight is the opportunity to witness an active glacier calving, where massive chunks of ice fall and splash into the water making deafening and crashing sounds.

Breakfast/Dinner

This morning, spend the day at leisure where you can explore Ilulissat and experience the atmosphere and life in the town. Watch fishermen at work at the bustling local marketplace where you will also see and shop for interesting fresh food produce and food products of Greenland. In the evening, embark on a unique Midnight Sun Sailing Cruise where you will sail among magnificent icebergs. With the midnight sun hanging low on the horizon, it can be difficult to tell the night from the day. Reflections from the soft, warm light give the icebergs and mountain tops an orange tinge, and the water becomes almost purple. Marvel at how the icebergs change from white and blue to shades of orange and red when struck by the Midnight Sun.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

Today, embark on a Whale Watching Safari. During summer, if you are lucky, you may get to see the humpback whales, minke whales and fin whales. The whales swim around the entire Disco Bay throughout the summer, sometimes near the city, other times in the Ice Fjord or up north by the Crown Prince Islands. Thereafter, spend the rest of the day appreciating the iceberg-laden ocean and the otherworldly landscape.

Breakfast/Dinner

Today, your memorable and magical journey around Greenland will come to an end. Proceed to take a flight to Reykjavik and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

After breakfast, embark on an adventure through Golden Circle, South Iceland’s most popular tourist route. Visit Thingvellir National Park, Iceland’s 1st national park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to find out more about its historical and political significance in Icelandic history. Then, marvel at the magnificent 2-tiered waterfall Gullfoss before visiting the geothermal hot springs of Geysir and Strokkur. Head to Selfoss for your overnight stay.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

This morning, travel to Iceland’s South Coast. Be enthralled by the picturesque Seljalandsfoss as it plummets 200 feet into a deep plunge pool below. Pass by the cone-shaped Eyjafjallajokull, an ice-capped volcano before stopping by Skogar to visit the famous Skogafoss, regarded by many as the most spectacular waterfall in Iceland. Continue to the charming village of Vik and make a stop to view the basalt sea stalks of Reynisdrangar and Reynisfjara black sand beach. This evening, return to Reykjavik to spend the night.

Breakfast

After breakfast, spend the day at leisure. You can consider going on an optional Icelandic horseback riding tour, in which you can enjoy a peaceful ride in the Icelandic countryside. Alternatively, you can explore the plethora of museums, landmarks and restaurants that Reykjavik has to offer.

Breakfast/Dinner

Spend the rest of the day at leisure before you transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Helsinki.

Breakfast

Today, you may wish to join an optional Tallinn city tour at your own expense. Tallinn, the capital of Estonia across the border from Finland, is only 60 kilometres from Helsinki. It is Estonia’s cultural heart retaining its walled cobblestoned Old Town filled with cafes, shops and history everywhere you turn.

Breakfast/Lunch/Meals On Board

Today, embark on a city tour to view Helsinki’s administrative centre, Senate Square, University of Helsinki, Helsinki Cathedral, Government Palace and Sederholm House, the city’s oldest stone building. Head to the lively Market Square before continuing on to one of Helsinki’s landmarks, Sibelius Monument, created by Eila Hiltunen in honour of composer Jean Sibelius. Next, visit the extraordinary Temppeliaukio Church, constructed out of solid rock. Spend the rest of the day at leisure in Helsinki. Thereafter, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
