Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, drive by Maha Bandula Park, Sule Pagoda, Pansodan Street, and The Secretariat before visiting Bogyoke Market, a shopping paradise selling antiques, handicrafts, clothing and jewellery. Thereafter, check in to your hotel for a thanaka demonstration where you learn how to prepare and apply thanaka, Myanmar's favoured natural cosmetic.


Breakfast/Burmese Cuisine Picnic Lunch/Dinner

This morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to Bagan, the newly inscribed UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, explore Dhammayangyi Temple, the largest temple in Bagan and learn about the hair-raising history of the incomplete enormous structure. Continue to Tharabar Gate, the only site built by King Pyinbya during the 9th century that has survived till date. Thereafter, proceed to Ananda Temple, one of the best preserved masterpieces of the Mon architecture. Visit the nearby Minnanthu Village for a delicious picnic lunch in the historical setting. After lunch, you may wish to donate alms and receive blessing from a monk. Thereafter, discover remote temples on a horse-drawn cart ride and immerse in the beauty of the ancient architecture.

Breakfast/Burmese Cuisine Lunch/Dinner

This morning, admire the beautiful sunrise from a viewpoint. After breakfast, explore Bagan on a 4WD. Head to Nyaung Gyi village and visit a blacksmith workshop to observe how useful items, such as ox wagon axles for the countryside are manufactured. Continue to Se Ywa village to view the manufacturing process of Burmese traditional sandal and plum purifying. Next, visit a toddy palm farm to learn how toddy palm provides food, raw materials and shelter for the locals. You can also taste palm sugar and palm wine. Enjoy a DIY pottery session at a pottery workshop before indulging in a Burmese cuisine lunch with 30 different small dishes. Thereafter, embark on a boat ride on Ayeyarwady River, stopping by a sandbank for drinks and snacks.
