Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Amsterdam in The Netherlands, where some might say is the bicycle capital of the world. Amsterdam balances modernity with a certain laid-back charm, as you will soon discover on your visit, it is more than a city of canals, clogs and cheese. Upon arrival, enjoy a rejuvenating rest at your hotel.

Breakfast/Dinner

Today, embark on a tour to see this delightful 700-year-old city with its elegant and classic architecture, cafes, and restaurants has a distinct ambiance. There is no better way to see Amsterdam than on a canal cruise, cruising through the elegant grachten lined with stately homes dating back to Amsterdam’s “Golden Age”. Next, be dazzled by the diamond house in Amsterdam and watch master diamond craftsmen at work. Then, proceed to Dam Square where Amstel River was dammed in the 13th century, thus giving the city its name. Next, witness the stellar attractions of Amsterdam such as Royal Palace, Church of Amsterdam and the resplendent National Monument. Spend some time at leisure for photo-taking or shopping. This afternoon, board the MS Amadeus Silver II. In the evening, enjoy a sumptuous welcome dinner hosted by the captain onboard the ship.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

This morning, head to Volendam, a charming harbor village. At here, you will see the main harbour strip, which remains a lively shopping and residential street. On one side you have the working trawlers and fishing boats, which remain the lifeblood for so many in the area. On the other you can see the traditional wooden buildings and homes. Make the most of your time in the fishing village by sampling the freshly caught seafood. Or simply relax at the variety of cosy cafés and restaurants, along with outdoor seafood vendor.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

Today, explore Cologne, Germany’s fourth largest city. Stroll through the narrow streets of Old Town Cologne, passing by tiny squares and small churches as you make your way to Cologne Cathedral, the city’s most famous landmark. It took 632 years for Germany’s largest cathedral to be completed, and today it is also one of the most important Gothic churches in Europe. Within this UNESCO World Heritage Site, the remains of the fabled Three Kings – the Magi are believed to lie at rest. Discover and explore the history of the cathedral where Christian pilgrims have been flocking to for centuries to admire its magnificent artifacts, especially the pieces surrounding the Shrine of the Magi. Spend some time exploring this historic Old Town, or perhaps sample the famous Kolsch beer, locally brewed in Cologne for over a hundred years!

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

In the morning, enjoy a morning cruise along the castle-lined river as we journey towards Cochem. History comes to life in charming Cochem, a traditional German town which features half timbered houses and boasts an exceptionally scenic location in the Mosel River. Enjoy a guided tour of Reichsburg Castle, that dramatically rises above the town, and it is also the largest hill-castle on the Mosel. Next, enjoy a walking tour through the Old Town, and admire a variety of fine buildings, quaint cottages, black and tan guild houses and winding streets. Few towns in Germany can match the charm of Cochem, where legend, folklore and its rich history have been woven into every street with its picturesque beauty making it a most popular tourist destination.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

Upon arrival in Koblenz, embark on a walking tour of the city that reveals an eventful past through its enchanting lanes, historic squares, picturesque alleyways, fountains in the old quarter, and the 12th century churches of St Florin and Our Beloved Lady. Thereafter, enjoy a relaxing afternoon as you take a scenic cruise along the romantic Rhine and the breathtaking Upper Middle Rhine Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Picturesque castles appear around every bend of the river in a 40-mile stretch, a sight which inspired poets, painters, and composers throughout the 19th century. Then, arrive in Rudesheim a winemaking town in the Rhine Gorge that is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the prestigious Castle Vollrads, a magnificent 14th-century castle situated ideally in the vineyard-covered hills of the Rheingau. Despite being one of the smallest wine-growing regions of Germany, the area is internationally renowned for its Rieslings, and Castle Vollrads is one of the world’s top wine estates for the varietal. Enjoy a wine tasting session and savour some of the exquisite wines produced in this region.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

In the morning, travel to Heidelberg. Visit Heidelberg Castle, the most popular castle ruin in Germany, and Heidelberg Tun, reputed to be the world’s largest wine barrel. At nearly 23 feet high and 28 feet wide, the cask holds over 58,000 gallons of wine and has a dance floor built on top of it! Spend the rest of the morning at leisure to discover and explore this town. In the afternoon, travel to Speyer a town located beside the Rhine river. Founded by the Romans, it is one of Germany’s oldest cities. Enjoy a guided walking tour through Old Town to the grand Speyer Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The first churches in the city date back to the sixth century, and the foundation for the cathedral was laid in 1030. Nearby, a well-preserved mikvah, or ritual bath, the oldest remaining bath of its kind in Europe.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

This morning, explore Strasbourg, a unique city situated at the border of France and Germany, that has changed her nationality six times from France to Germany and then back to France in 1949. Embark on a walking tour to view the city’s main landmark, Strasbourg Cathedral. The highlight of this cathedral is the Astronomical Clock which was constructed in 1547 by a team of Swiss clockmakers. In front of the clock stands the Pillar of Angels, representing the Last Judgement. A stone’s throw away from the cathedral is Strasbourg’s most beautiful half-timbered house, Maison Kammerzell. On Place Gutenberg stands the Chamber of Commerce building which was formerly the town hall. Thereafter, stroll along the street of Petite France featuring a succession of half-timbered houses, quaint shops, inviting bistros, and a waterfront promenade. In the evening, celebrate a wonderful trip with your travel companions at a farewell dinner hosted by the captain of the cruise.
