Meals On Board

Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Lima, the capital of Peru.

Meals On Board

Upon arrival, proceed for dinner before you enjoy a rejuvenating rest at your hotel.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

After breakfast, embark on a city tour of Lima to take in landmarks such as Plaza Mayor, Government Palace and City Hall. Next, visit Lima Cathedral, built in 1625 and rebuilt in 1940 after an earthquake. Behind its relatively bare facade, you will find beautiful chapels and splendid wood carvings. Continue to San Francisco Church and Convent, an exquisite colonial building with frescoes representing the life of San Francisco. Next, visit Museo Larco, which displays more than 45,000 pieces of the private collection of Rafael Larco Hoyle, widely regarded as the most important archaeologist of Peru. This museum also owns a variety of precious objects, an exhibition hall of gold jewels and an extraordinary collection of pottery from different pre-Inca cultures. Thereafter, spend some time to explore the city at your own leisure.

Breakfast/Peruvian Paso Horse Show and Lunch/Dinner

This morning, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, visit Pisac Market to see the colourful and folkloric spectacle with displays of fruits, vegetables and local produce in an authentic and traditional market setting. Besides, you will also be able to browse and buy regional handicrafts such as ponchos, weaves, wool sweaters, jewels, antiquities and more. While you tuck into lunch, you will also get to enjoy an interesting Peruvian Paso horse and marinera dance performance, considered the national dance of Peru comprising a series of graceful and romantic movements between a couple and a saddle horse. Travel to Ollantaytambo, the last living Inca town, and visit Temple Hill, the fortress ruin of the ancient city. Thereafter, continue towards Sacred Valley for your overnight stay.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

This morning, enjoy a scenic drive to Chinchero, a village located 28 kilometres from Cusco, to experience the daily life of locals in a typical Andean community. Explore the buzzing and vibrant Chinchero Market and see how the local people use the barter system to exchange their products with one another on a busy Sunday. Continue to visit Maras, a town renowned for its Inca salt mines which are still in use today, and the archaeological site of Moray, an ancient agricultural centre dating from the same period.

Note

Chinchero Market is only open on Sundays.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

After breakfast, hop aboard the 360º Machu Picchu Train and journey through the lush Sacred Valley. Do not forget to marvel at the stunning landscape through the wide and tall panoramic windows throughout your journey. After disembarking the train, continue on a bus ride to reach the famous Machu Picchu, romantically known as the Lost City of the Incas. Upon arrival, catch your breath and commence on a memorable visit of this wonder of the world, which includes unmissable sights such as House of the High Priest, Sacred Plaza and Intihuatana.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

This morning, spend the day to explore Machu Picchu at your own leisure. You may wish to ascend the trek to the Sun Gate or climb Huayna Picchu, the peak that rises dramatically above the ancient ruins, at your own expense. Alternatively, you can also spend some time shopping for souvenirs at the town centre. Thereafter, travel back to Cusco for your overnight stay.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

After breakfast, embark on a city tour of Cusco. Commence with a visit to Plaza de Armas, the main square of Cusco, and Hatun Rumiyoc Street, where the famous Twelve-Angled Stone is perfectly embedded in the ancient Inca wall. Continue to explore and you will find yourself strolling through one of the most picturesque precincts of the city – the traditional craftsmen area. Next, head to Koricancha, a famous temple dedicated to the Sun God. Pay a visit to Cusco Cathedral, which was built in the 16th century over the Inca palace of Viracocha. Next, visit the Inca ruins of Cusco such as Quenqo, Pukapukara, Tambomachay and Sacsayhuaman.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

Bid farewell to Peru as you transfer to the airport for your flight to La Paz, the capital of Bolivia also known as the highest capital in the world located more than 3,500 metres above sea level. Upon arrival, embark on the city tour of La Paz that includes San Francisco Church and Plaza Murillo, La Paz’s main square. It is here where you can also admire La Paz Cathedral and Palacio Quemado, the presidential palace. Discover Sagarnaga Street and the interesting Street of the Witches, where you can find many local ingredients used for traditional health remedies and mystical concoctions. Next, visit the unique Valley of the Moon, a scenic wonderland of lunar landscapes and bizarre geological formations. This is also where you will have the opportunity to visit a ceramic workshop and learn more about the art of pottery through a demonstration. Thereafter, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Uyuni. Upon arrival, transfer to Colchani and check in to your hotel before you enjoy your dinner.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

Start your day at the otherworldly Uyuni Salt Flat, the world’s largest salt deposit and certainly one of the world’s most memorable sights. Spend some time snapping plenty of Instagram-worthy shots at this mirror-like lake known as the world’s biggest mirror. Thereafter, continue to Incahuasi Island, the biggest of a group of islands that represents an isolated ecosystem located in the salt flat. The island is populated with giant cacti species that measures up to 12 metres high, creating an impressive backdrop for more photographs. Enjoy the sunset view in the middle of the salt flat before you return to Colchani for your overnight stay.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

After breakfast, visit the north side of Uyuni Salt Flat to view the Mummies of Coqueza, a collection of human archaeological remains in a little cave near Tunupa volcano, from where you can also view the immensity of the salt flat from the viewpoint. You will also get to visit Chiquini cave that is full of stalactites and stalagmites. Thereafter, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight back to La Paz.
