Dinner

Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Xiamen. Upon arrival, meet with local guide and coach tour along the “Huandao Road (Island Ring Road)”, and enjoy the view of Kinmen from afar. Head down to Zengcuoan Village known as the “Most artistic village of China”. Lastly visit Nanputuo Temple a complex constructed in the Tang dynasty and enjoy Nanputou Vegetarian meal for the dinner.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

Today coach ride to ancient city of Chaozhou. On the way, taste Zhangzhou “Taiwan Specialty” – Green Tea Taro Cake. Tour Chaozhou city and visit Kaiyuan Temple and ascend up to ancient Xiangzi Bridge and view Guangji Gate from a far. Taste the sample sweet preserves – preserved Foshou citrus fruit, plum, kumquats, etc from “Yangguangchaoyi” sweet preserves shop. You may want to purchase such as “Laoyaoju (old medical orange) and yujiao (fish gelatin)” from the gift shop. Taste authentic Chaozhou cuisine for dinner. Take the tram ride tour ancient city of Chaozhou + coach tour Chaozhou city night view.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

Travel to Shantou, view the Binhai Changlang (Marine Corridor), People’s Square by coach. For lunch, savour the famous Chaoshan 18-style flavors, consisting of 18 different dishes. Next, take a pleasant walk in Zhongshan Park. Continue it; visit to Piaoxiang snack store taste the local snacks at your own expense. Thereafter, visit Laoma Temple, a landmark for overseas Chinese to find their roots. Then, proceed to Meizhou to view Weilongwu, a unique local architecture. Dinner will be Meizhou Hakka cuisine.

After breakfast, visit the Hakka History Museum and Hakka Park.  Next, visit Qianfo Ta (Thousand Buddha Pagoda), a cultural icon of Meizhou. Then, visit Chuxi Earthen House complex, a UNESCO World Heritage site, for its “Architectural Wonder” and considered to be the “Most Beautiful Earthen House in Fujian Province”. Made up of five circular and ten square towers (Yuqing Lou, Jiqing Lou, Gengqing Lou, Shengqing Lou,etc),the complex is embroidered perfectly against a serene landscape and exemplifies artistic and architectural values. Among the buildings, Jiqing Lou, constructed in 1419, is one of the oldest circular Hakka Earthen Houses in China. It was the set of popular Television Series “Xia Nanyang”. Enjoy Hakka Earthen House cuisine including Hakka rice wine chicken, Yong Tau Foo, etc. Night tour of ”Hexing Lou” (at your own expense),where you can enjoy the night view of Tulou and the music bar. If you feel interesting, you can pay extra fee to sing Kara OK, drink beers or buy fireworks.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner At your own expense

After breakfast, return to Xiamen, lunch at “Wei You Duck Meesua” restaurant for crispy spring roll, duck soup meesua and various Hokkien food. Next, visit Xiamen Laoyuanzi Folk Culture and Customs Garden and Watch <The Legend of Hokkien> Around China Show at your own expense or Lujiang River Night Cruise Tour (own expenses). Continue it; visit the iconic Haishangmingzhu (Pearl on the Sea) Tower at the city centre, featuring a panoramic bird’s eye view of the city. You also can take a walk at New City Walkway in Xiamen enjoy the green air and city view of the city. At night, at your own expense, take the coach through the Xiamen Night Scene Tour and visit the Night Market-the Zhongshan Road Shopping District tastes the local snacks at you own. Get to sample Xiamen Spring roll for free.

After breakfast, enjoy free and easy today or you may choose one of the optional tours as follows:

1. ‘Garden on the Sea’ Gulangyu (4pax and above to departure): RMB280/pax (exclude lunch, RMB25/pax tip)

   Take ferry to ‘Garden on the Sea’ Gulangyu, where you will see Multinational Architecture.  It’s a must to try the local specialty snack – the Yap’s glutinous rice ball at the century old shop and do some shopping at the Longtou commercial street.

After breakfast, proceed to Quanzhou, the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road. Admire the Zheng Chang Gong Bronze Statue, visit the Quanzhou Maritime Museum and learn the history of maritime commerce (If it was closed on Monday,it will be changed to Minnan Old Houses + Quanzhou Shopping Street). Visit to Kaiyuan Temple and view the Eastern & Western pagodas. Transfer back to Xiamen in the afternoon; enjoy Ludao Seabass Feast for dinner.

After breakfast, take your leisure while wait for your flight back to Singapore.

If return flight is Fuzhou-Singapore, then the itinerary for Day7-Day8 is as below:

DAY 7       XIAMEN – (Approx 1 hour coach) QUANZHOU – (Approx 3 hour coach) FUZHOU

(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

After breakfast, proceed to Quanzhou, the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road. Admire the Zheng Chang Gong Bronze Statue, visit the Quanzhou Maritime Museum and learn the history of maritime commerce (If it was closed on Monday,it will be changed to Minnan Old Houses + Quanzhou Shopping Street). Visit to Kaiyuan Temple and view the Eastern&Western pagodas. Transfer to Fuzhou in the afternoon, view Wuyi Square via coach. Enjoy Buddha jump over the wall and Fishball meat yan soup for dinner.

DAY 8       FUZHOU Q SINGAPORE (Breakfast)

After breakfast, visit Lin Zexu Memorial Hall, dedicated to Chinese National Heroes. Take a leisure walk along Sanfang Qixiang (Three Lanes and Seven Alleys). Taste Guangbing (Guang cookie) as a gift. Thereafter, transfer to airport for your flight back to Singapore.
