Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Srinagar, renowned as “Paradise on Earth”, via Delhi.  Here tells the story of the love that Mughal emperors had for this paradise-like vale with deep green rice fields, gardens in bloom and lakes rimmed by floating houseboats, your deluxe accommodation for the next 3 nights. End your day at the famous Mughal Gardens of Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. These gardens were built by the Mughals in the Persian architectural style, with terraced lawns, cascading fountains and brightly painted flowerbeds with panoramic views of the lake.

After breakfast, explore the beauty of Gulmarg, where you may toddle along vast stretches of flowering meadows and sway through alpine mountains replete with snow. This small yet magnificent town is a haven for adventure seekers and a paradise for nature lovers. The lovely landscapes and snow-clad peaks have provided stunning backgrounds for several Bollywood ventures. Here, you may wish to experience a sledge ride or pony ride at your own expense. After that, hop onboard the Gulmarg Gondola, an aerial cable car, to Phase 1 Kungdoor to enjoy sweeping views of forests, mountains, and snow-covered valleys – India’s version of the Swiss Alps. As you head back to Srinagar, drop by the local market to observe the locals’ daily routine and the biggest moqsue in Kashmir, Jamia Masjid. It has a magnificent courtyard with 370 wooden pillars and presents a peaceful atmosphere, which stands out against the hustle and bustle of the old bazaars around it.

The sledge ride is available from December – March, while the pony ride is available from April – November.

This morning, embark on the most scenic drive – pass through rich forests of birch, pine, silver fir, and sycamore – in Kashmir to Sonmarg. A picturesque hill station situated in the heart of the valley carved by the Sindh River, it is surrounded by dense forests, flower-laden fields, majestic glaciers, snow-capped mountains, and sparkling lakes. This is definitely the ultimate destination to unwind amidst its serenity whilst your eyes remain transfixed on the beauty of it all. You may wish to ride on a pony to the glacier at your own expense. Enroute to Srinagar, stop over at the holiest Muslim shrine in Kashmir, The Hazratbal Shrine. This shrine with unmatched reverence is a beautiful structure of immaculate white marble, and it offers a spectacular view of Dal Lake and the mountains afar. Thereafter, enjoy a Pheran dress-up session and have fun taking photos for keepsake!

Today, hop onboard a romantic and soothing Shikara Boat on Dal Lake, a vast sheet of water reflecting the carved wooden balconies of the houseboats and misty peaks of the Pir Panjal Range. After that, transfer to the airport for your flight to Delhi for your journey to Jaipur, renowned as the “Pink City” due to the pink buildings and walls of the old city. Spend the rest of the day at leisure to explore the vicinity.

Your first stop of the day is Amber Fort, a magnificent fort that is situated right next to Maota Lake and stands on top of an easily scalable mountain. The fort comprises of an extensive palace complex that features an interesting blend of Muslim and Hindu architecture, and is built from marble and sandstone. You may wish to ride on an elephant back to the entrance at your own expense. After that, drive past Hawa Mahal, an extraordinary pink-painted, delicately honeycombed hive and City Palace of Jaipur, once the seat of kings, as you head to Jantar Mantar. This is an astronomical observation site built to help and improve upon the studies of space and time as known. Your third stop is at Birla Mandir, a proud architectural landmark of Jaipuir built of pure white marbles, whose interiors contain beautifully sculpted Hindu Gods and Goddesses. This temple forms a wonderful backdrop to witness a traditional Aarti Ceremony, which involves the lighting and waving off oil lamps in order to invoke the deities and put them to rest for the night. Your last stop of the day is Choki Dhani Village, known for its cultural manifesto and rich Rajasthani heritage. It comprises of a series of rebuilt village huts reminiscent of indigenous Rajasthani traditions and is situated away from the hustle of the city where nature is alive and refreshing.

Bid farewell to Jaipur as you set off to Agra – city of Taj, a sublime expression of historic and architectural marvels, city of the Taj Mahal. En-route, visit the unique Chand Baori, an exquisite stepwell built in the 9th century. Marvel at the 3,500 perfectly symmetrical stone steps along 3 sides of the well and the 3-storey temple decorated with beautiful sculptures along the last wall of this enchanting rectangular structure. Upon arrival in Agra, pay a visit to UNESCO World Heritage Site, Taj Mahal. Crafted in soft, pure marble and bejewelled with semiprecious stones, the building was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan – who was inconsolable at the passing of Mumtaz Mahal, one of his favourite wives – and his grief resulted in the creation of one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. You can walk along the pathway to the mausoleum beside a long reflecting pool with fountains as you explore its compound. Then, proceed to Mehtab Bagh to enjoy a magnificent view of Taj Mahal, arguably India’s most famous monument.

Bid farewell to Agra as you set off to Delhi, steeped in history yet overflowing with modern life. Consisting of 2 components, take a leisure drive along Rajpath in New Delhi, where you will pass by the Parliament House, the President’s House, and India Gate. Wrap up your day at Swaminarayan Akshardham. This temple is an eternal place for one to offer devotion and experience everlasting peace. Built of pink sandstone, the mandir is the spiritual center of the entire complex. Hop on a 12 minute cultural boat ride for an insight of ancient Indian history.

After breakfast, explore the other compenent of Delhi, Old Delhi. Take a leisure drive and pass by Red Fort on your way to Shah Jahan’s last architectural extravagance, Jamia Masjid. After that, visit Raj Ghat, a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi and the Pillars of Ashoka, a series of columns transcribed with edicts of Ashoka the Great. End your day with an enthralling stroll through the mile-long Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi. A bustling street lined with local fashion and accessories stores and boutiques before heading to UNESCO World Heritage Site, Qutub Minar, a soaring 73 meter high tower with each level made of either sandstone or marble. The tower has five distinct stories, each marked by a projecting balcony and tapers from a 15 m diameter at the base to just 2.5 m at the top. Your last stop of the trip is Lotus Temple, built in the shape of a lotus flower and is last of the seven Major Bahai’s temples built around the world. After dinner, bid farewell to India as you are transferred to the airport for your flight home.
