Delve into Mongolia's nomadic lifestyle as we proceed to Karakorum, the ancient capital of the Mongol empire. Enjoy the natural landscapes as you drive through the sweeping plains that are sporadically dotted by gers & herds of horses or flocks of sheep. Visit a Mongolian nomadic village for lunch to experience local culture and a colourful mini-Naadam festival. See the locals compete and display their skills in wrestling, archery and horse racing. You can also try your hand at archery and enjoy a traditional Mongolian deel dress-up. Proceed to the unique ger lodging for your overnight stay surrounded with great vistas of the Mongolian steppes and sunset views. After dinner, you have a chance to capture the millions of twinkling stars outside your tent.

Breakfast/Nomadic-Style Lunch/Dinner
This morning, visit Erdene Zuu Museum, probably the oldest-surviving Buddhist monastery in Mongolia, located within the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Orkhon Valley Cultural Landscape. Capture a panoramic view of this historic site before we continue to see the symbolic ruins of the ancient capital such as Stone Turtle and Karakorum Museum. Next, proceed to Elsen Tasarkhai, also known as Mini Gobi Desert.  Enjoy a camel ride on the sand dunes to admire the limitless golden sand landscape. Tonight, enjoy another opportunity for stargazing at your ger lodging. 

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
Return to Ulaanbaatar and embark on a city tour. Start with National Museum of Mongolia, which houses the richest collection of Mongolian history, from stone age to modern times. Next, visit Gandantegchinlen Monastery. The monastery’s main attraction is the magnificent Migjid Janraisig Sum statue with precious stones and gilded with gold leaf, built with donations from Mongolian people as a symbol of Buddhist revival in the mid 1990s. The final stop is Sukhbaatar Square, the main square in the heart of Ulaanbaatar. The centre of the plaza features a large statue of Sukhbaatar, Mongolia’s revolutionary hero of which the square is named after. This evening, enjoy a Mongolian cultural performance.

This morning, visit Genghis Khan Statue Complex to view the statue of Genghis Khan and enjoy the surrounding area and mountains from the top of the statue. Next, step back in time at National Park Mongolia 13th Century to learn about Mongolian lifestyle and culture during the Mongol empire. This evening, arrive in Gorkhi-Terelj National Park for your overnight stay in a ger and enjoy a Mongolian lamb BBQ dinner with campfire.

This morning, explore iconic landmarks in the Gorkhi-Terelj National Park region, Turtle Rock and Ariyabal Meditation Temple. Bid farewell to the nomadic experience and return to Ulaanbaatar. Visit Zaisan Memorial for a panoramic view of the city. Next, enjoy some retail therapy at a carpet outlet store, Galleria Ulaanbaatar cashmere outlet and souvenir shop. This evening, tease your palate with a savoury hotpot dinner at “Little Sheep” restaurant in Ulaanbaatar.

今早将返回乌兰巴托，走访几个代表性的城市景点。首先参观馆藏最为丰富的蒙古国国家博物馆，其中收藏了从石器时代至现代的蒙古历史相关藏品。接着前往甘丹寺，寺里提供每日宗教服务，寺中拥有一座缀满珠宝的观士音菩萨像，雕像是由蒙古人捐款建造，用以象征1990年代中期佛教的复兴。最后一站来到苏赫巴托广场，这是乌兰巴托的主要广场。苏赫巴托尔是蒙古的革命领袖，这座广场就是以这位历史人物命名，广场中还立有一座他的大型雕像。今晚你将欣赏到一场结合了蒙古族传统表演。
