Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Taoyuan. This morning, visit ZHU DAYU Culture Museum and you must not miss the only 360° 3D painted tunnel in Taiwan. You may also enjoy viewing the red coral display or join a sea shell DIY at own expense to enjoy family fun time. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a scenic drive to Hualien. Proceed to TCC DAKA Ecological Park, which was transformed from a cement factory. There is the first solar-powered installation art in East Asia, the world’s only pineapple conservation garden, rainwater circulation music pool, Taroko specialty DAKA market and many more to explore. Stop over at Qixingtan to admire panoramic view of the east coast of Taiwan, it has also become a popular Instagram hotspot. Later, you will see many decorative artworks as well as gorgeous seasonal flowers at Mambo Oceanic Recreation Park. Walk along the park and you will be visiting the mysterious 48 Heights Combat Preparation Tunnel to learn about the military history and culture during World War II. Next, spend your evening savouring mouth-watering delicacies of different cuisines at Hualien’s largest street food night market, Dongdamen Night Market. You are bound to enter a food coma thereafter!

After breakfast, visit the most well-preserved Japanese temple in Taiwan, Hualien Ji-An Shrine. It was an immigrant village built by the Japanese during the Japanese occupation in 1917. You will get to see ‘Temizuya’ the hand washing shelter, solemn eighty-eight stone Buddhas, traditional temple hall and zen garden with lush flowers and trees. Then, move on to Liyu Lake Recreation Area, the largest inland lake in the three counties of Hualien, Taitung and Yilan. Take a stroll along the lake to enjoy the scenery of mountains and lake, or you may also experience paddle boat ride or scenic boat ride at own expense. Thereafter, follow the Instagram trend to check in at the popular Container STARBUCKS before proceeding to Hualien Bay Happy Farm. In this 45-hectares open farm, there are seasonal blossoms, stone crafting artworks, and many animals including deer, peacocks, sheep, swans and many more! Animal feeding and horse riding are available at own expense. Next, visit A-zone Hualien Cultural and Creative Industries Park which includes 26 revamped old factories and warehouse, providing services such as art exhibition, dining and specialty products. This evening, indulge in an exciting assortment of clothing stores, souvenir shops, and restaurants at Golden Triangle Shopping District.

Not only to learn about the history of Yilan traditional biscuit, you will also get to enjoy hands on DIY traditional Yilan biscuit. Thereafter, journey to Taiwan’s cultural, economic, and political centre, Taipei. Tonight, immerse yourself in the vibrant ambience of Ximending, the famed entertainment and shopping area, and the mecca for youth culture in Taipei.

This morning, your first stop is Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, erected in honour and memory of its namesake. It encompasses a variety of biodiversity and garden landscaping, making it a fine place for visitors to both enjoy cultural sightseeing and get close to nature. Stopover at a Pixiu Lucky Charm Centre before moving on to Jiufen, a former gold mining village packed with teahouses and shops offering local delicacies and crafts. Afterwards, continue to the birthplace of sky lanterns, Shifen. Shifen Old Street is connected to the train tracks, you may get to see train rumbling across the street, if you are lucky. Here, you can experience the simple joy of lighting and releasing sky lanterns with your fellow travellers. Make a wish and may all your wishes come true. Visit a Tea Cultural Centre to find out how and why Taiwan is immersed in tea. Finally, explore the fun and interesting night foods and snacks, quaint shops and stalls, and carnival games at Raohe Night Market.
