After breakfast, enjoy a funicular ride to Cerro de Monserrate, a magnificent vantage point rising to a height of 3,200 metres above sea level, where you will be able to marvel at the panoramic views of the city and the valley below. It is also home to Sanctuary of our Fallen Lord, a popular pilgrimage site for more than 4 centuries. Next, embark on the city tour of Bogota including Santuario Nuestra Senora del Carmen, Plaza Bolivar, House of Narino – the home of the President of Colombia – and the vibrant street art dotted all over the city. Continue to Botero Museum, which displays 123 works of Fernando Botero, one of Colombia’s most celebrated artists, in various techniques such as painting, drawing and sculpture. Thereafter, visit Gold Museum, which displays the largest collection of Pre-Columbian gold artefacts with 36,000 pieces of gold and splendid emeralds.

Botero Museum is closed on Tuesdays and Gold Museum is closed on Mondays.

This morning, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Pereira. Upon arrival, proceed to visit Quindio Botanical Gardens, located in the charming town of Calarca, where you will enjoy an amazing tour of the butterfly farm housing 30 endemic species and a total of 1,500 butterflies. This is also an ideal setting to learn all about the palms, ferns, heliconias and other native plants of the region.

Today, enjoy a jeep ride to visit Cocora Valley, located in the Colombian Andes, and be sure to admire the beautiful landscape along the way. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by your expert guide with a complimentary cocktail. Next, time to start your exploration by taking a walk into the cloud forest, where you can appreciate the biodiversity of fauna and flora in the valley. Thereafter, visit Plaza de Bolivar, located in the Andean town of Salento, where you can snap memorable photographs with colourful balconies and misty mountains as your backdrop. Take some time to explore the main street filled with craft workshops before heading to the panoramic viewpoint for a mesmerising view over tiled roofs and the surrounding valleys and mountains. Continue to Filandia, widely regarded as the hidden gem of Colombia’s famed coffee region, and enjoy a well-deserved break with fresh and aromatic coffee.

After breakfast, enjoy a Route of Coffee Culture tour, in which you will have the opportunity to discover the interesting history of coffee cultivation and the coffee production process in Colombia. Next, transfer to Cali, regarded as the capital of salsa music in Colombia. In the evening, enjoy a salsa dance show and dinner and be entertained by the energetic performances as you dine.

This morning, embark on the city tour of Cali, in which you will visit River Cat statue, an iconic city sculpture, and Sebastian de Belalcazar statue, which commemorates the founder of the city. Next, proceed to visit the 148-foot-tall Christ the King Monument, where you can also enjoy a panoramic view of the whole city from its observation deck. Continue to explore Plaza San Francisco, Plaza Caycedo and Centro Historico to take in more of the city’s delights. Thereafter, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Cartagena.

This morning, visit San Felipe de Barajas Castle, a former fortress in the city of Cartagena. Wander through the tunnels of the fortress to discover more of its architecture and history. You will also have the opportunity to snap photographs of the entire bay from the castle. Next, visit La Popa Hill, another perfect place to admire the whole view of Cartagena. After lunch, you will learn more about the city of Cartagena during the walking tour through colourful streets, winding alleyways and historic squares of the old city. End your sightseeing with a visit to San Pedro Claver Church and Monastery, built in the early 17th century by the Jesuit community.

This morning, escape to the picturesque paradise of the Rosario Islands, located 45 kilometres southwest of the Bay of Cartagena. The archipelago comprises 27 islands housing the largest coral formation of the Colombian Caribbean. Spend the day at leisure to discover the rich tropical marine life, and take some time to relax amid the fine white-sand beaches and turquoise waters. Return to Cartagena for your overnight stay.

This morning, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight back to Bogota. Upon arrival, travel to Zipaquira to visit Salt Cathedral of Zipaquira, an underground Roman Catholic church built 200 metres underground within the salt mine tunnels. Learn more about the history of salt extraction while you discover the unique marvel known locally as the 8th wonder of the world. Return to Bogota for your overnight stay.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
