Upon arrival, go back in time as you wander a long the Otaru Canal ’s century- old preserved stone warehouses that have been preserved and transformed into museums, restaurants and shops. Add a whimsical twist to your journey down memory lane with a stop at the Otaru Music Box Museum where the exquisite antique music boxes are guaranteed to delight all ages. Then, get ready for some fun-filled snow activities at a ski resort amidst spectacular snow-capped mountains. At the end of an exciting day, a relaxing snow hot spring bath awaits you at the resort.

Breakfast/Dinner

After breakfast, it’s time for some action at the ski fields. Channel your inner athlete as you hit the snow slopes with your friendly ski instructor. First-timers have no fear! A 2-hour basic ski lesson by a licensed instructor will be provided. Not into skiing? Try your hand at a multitude of other snow activities such as snow rafting and snow trekking, at your own expense. If all else fails, there is always the ever-popular snowball fight!

Breakfast/Lunch/ Kaiseki Dinner

Today, immerse yourself in ancient Japan at Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura, a theme park dedicated to the Edo period. Fulfil your ninja and samurai fantasies as you get to wield the samurai sword and practise the samurai spirit of “BushiDo”. If ninjas and samurais are not your thing, join in the flashy Oiran courtesans and their merrymaking as they show you the social spectacle that is Edo life. The entertainment continues with a delicious dancing abalone lunch – see the abalone as they are cooked in the shell. After lunch, your day will reach boiling point – literally – as you walk through a sulphurous valley, boiling ponds and steaming streams at the famous Jigokudani, also known as Hell Valley. Make a photo stop at the picturesque Lake Toya and the magnificent volcanic dome Mt Showa followed by a Kaiseki dinner before retiring at an onsen resort in Lake Toya.

Kick start your day by indulging in some retail therapy at Mitsui Outlet Park Sapporo Kitahiroshima, where a plethora of domestic and imported brands can be found under one roof. Chocoholics rejoice, make a stop at Shiroi Koibito, fashioned in a distinctively Tudor-styled building that evokes fairy tale impressions, this purveyor of quality confectionary is an institution unto itself that would please the inner Hansel or Gretel in you. Proceed on to the famous Odori Park, with fountains, sculptures and flowerbeds galore. This evening, you will have the chance to fill those shopping bags at Tanukikoji Shopping Arcade. Stay overnight in Sapporo city.
