You will find echidnas, koalas, kangaroos, wallabies and little penguins, and be rewarded with remarkable close-up wildlife experiences. Visit the Marron farm and view marron up close in the holding tanks with all the experience of seeing the range of sizes even some juveniles (babies) at times, blue marron and if you’re lucky enough to see one out of water the need to keep clear of the claws that can give a bit of a nip. Spend the rest of the day at Lavender Farm or Clifford's Honey Farm.

Continue exploring Kangaroo Island today with beautiful secluded beaches on the north coast. Drive to Seal Bay Conservation Park, where guided tours down to the beach ensure the closest possible encounter with sea lions that rest here after days of fishing in the Southern Ocean. Visit the caves at Kelly Hill Conservation Park, and then the dramatic coastal formations of Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch in Flinders Chase National Park. This is a haven for wildlife and it has numerous walking trials to explore. Visit little penguins with tours offered in Penneshaw and Kingscote.

(Drive Time: 1 hr + Ferry Time: 45 mins)

This afternoon, make your way to Penneshaw for the return ferry transfer to Cape Jevis. Continue south to Victor Harbor, South Australia’s most famous coastal resort town. Renowned as a great place for watching southern right whales in winter, it is also home to a colony of little penguins on Granite Island. The island is a short walk across the timber causeway or a pleasant ride on the horsedrawn tram.
Today join the exciting 45-minute boat tour courtesy of Big Duck Tours will have you skipping across the Granite Island causeway in search of Australian and New Zealand Fur Seals and dolphins. If you're visiting between May and October, you have a good chance of seeing visiting humpbacks and Southern Right whales which come here to breed.  Later, you may catch the historic Cockle Steam Train from Goolwa to Victor Harbor and back. Or, experience the adrenalin of swimming with the tuna at the Oceanic Victor sea aquarium.
(Drive Time: 1.5 hr)

Depart Victor Harbor to Hahndorf. This picturesque town is the oldest surviving German village in Australia. Browse the incredible range of shops; from toys, antiques, books, clothing, shoes, minerals, cuckoo clocks, hand-crafted leather wares, natural beauty products and gift ware, right through to butchers, bakers and candle makers! Hahndorf really is a shopper's paradise - just park the car and wander up and down the main street.

Spend the day exploring Adelaide’s city centre on foot.
