Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Kathmandu – the capital of Nepal. Upon arrival, proceed to hotel.
After breakfast, take a leisure drive to Pokhara, where its unparalleled beauty will definitely enrapture you with its charm. Upon arrival, enjoy free at leisure time or you may wish to explore Phewa Lake, the second largest lake in Nepal, on your own
Set off early to Sarangkot to witness the sunrise, alongside a magnificent view of the Pokhara Valley and a panoramic sweep of Himalayan peaks. Watch in wonder as the sun picks out peaks, transforming them from a purple-pink to a celestial gold. Return to your hotel for breakfast before embarking on a half-day sightseeing tour of Pokhara Valley, also known as ‘the Jewel of the Himalayas’. During the tour, you will explore Davis Fall, where its water falls directly into a deep and narrow canal with no ends; and the nearby Mahendra Cave, a rare example of a cave system in Nepal containing stalactites and stalagmites. Next, enjoy a boat ride on the gem-like Phewa Lake. End your day with a visit to Lakeside, where you can chill out at a bar or café overlooking Phewa Lake, leisurely shop without any raucous hard sell, stroll the quiet road whilst enjoying the music from stores
This morning, make your way back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, proceed to Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple. It is one of the crowning glories of Kathmandu Valley architecture; this perfectly proportioned monument rises through a whitewashed dome to a gilded spire. Meanwhile, the base of the central stupa is ringed by prayer wheels embossed with a scared mantra. Embossed with a similar mantra are thousands of prayer flags, which flutter around the stupa. Wrap up the day with shopping at the streets of Thamel, a labyrinth of alleys and streets filled with bars, cafes, restaurants, and souvenir stores.
After breakfast, visit Patan Durbar Square complex which is perhaps the most photographed of the three Durbar Squares. Located in the heart of Patan city, this was once the palace of the Kings of Patan. The square is a display of Newari architecture that had reached its pinnacle during the reign of Malla kings who were great builders and patrons of the arts. Next, proceed to Pashupatinath Temple which is regarded as the most sacred temple of Hindu Lord Shiva in the world. Thousands of pilgrims from all over the world come to pay homage to this temple which is also known as ‘The Temple of Living Beings”. Continue to Great Stupa of Boudhanath: a vast dome-shaped monument that represents the Mind of Buddha. It is also one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and the primary pilgrimage destination for Tantric Buddhists of the Himalayas, drawing Tibetan Buddhists from all over the planet. The history of the stupa, which begins from its origins in the fifth century to the present day, is also presented here for the first time. Thereafter, visit a local Thangka painting studio to learn the art of Thangka making and have the opportunity to create your own Thangka style painting. End of the day, discover the “Singing Bowl Therapy” that has garnered the interest of travelers around in the world. It is a unique form of treatment that you can enjoy in order to relieve yourself of travel stress and to rejuvenate in Kathmandu. Next, visit a local school to have a special interaction with the kids to make your day more meaningful. Wrap up the day and experience the colourful tourist hub of Kathmandu like a local with a Rikshaw ride and spend your time shopping at Thamel Street, a renowned shopping area, where you can purchase a variety of goods including handicrafts, pashmina, garments and accessories at your own expense
