-Nagasaki Peace Park & Atomic Bomb Museum: The museum that commemorates the atomic bombing of Nagasaki on 9 August 1945
-Glover garden: An open air museum that exhibits traditional mansions of the former Western merchants.
-Unzen Hell Valley: Barren rocky areas are littered with billowing steam vents and gushing hot springs from which milky, acidic and sulfurous water bubbles straight up out of the ground.
-Ariake Ferry: 45 mins ride (included) from Taira Port just north of Shimbara to Nagasu Port just north of Kumamoto
-Suizenji Jojuen Garden: Traditional Japanese garden landscaped around a natural spring pond. The area was originally the site of Suizenji temple

-Mt Aso: Is the largest active volcano in Japan, and is among the largest in the world.
-Kusasenri: A prairie with a beautiful view of the smoking Nakadake Peak of Mt Aso.
-Hells of Beppu: (2hr from Aso) The name, Jigoku (hell), was derived from the face that the site is unapproachable, because of fumarolic gas of around 100 degrees.

-Komyozenji Temple: A Zen temple founded in 1273 (mid of Kamakura period), with two beautiful Japanese Gardens
-Tenjin Underground Mall: Largest underground shopping area in Kyushu, built underground of Tenjin.
-Canal City Hakata: A large shopping and entertainment complex in Fukuoka, called the “city within the city”. It boasts numerous attractions including shops, cafes, restaurant, theater, game center.
