This morning, proceed to Dambulla and explore Golden Temple of Dambulla, which dates back to 100 BC and is located on a vast isolated rock mass that is 500 feet high and 5,280 feet wide at the base. Next, proceed to Sigiriya and head to the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a 5th century fortress in the sky which is built on a colossal rock. It is perhaps the most fantastic natural wonder on the island. You may climb up to the fortress before returning to the hotel. In the evening, return to Dambulla for your overnight stay.

Breakfast/Lunch/ Dinner
After breakfast, proceed to Kandy. Visit a spice garden, where you can see lush spice plants such as cinnamon, cardamom and pepper. Feel free to purchase some spices if you like. In the afternoon, embark on a city tour of Kandy, which includes sights such as Upper Lake Drive, Market Square, Kandyan Arts and Crafts Industrial Centre and a gem factory. Kandy was the last stronghold of the Sinhalese empire before it was ceded to the British in 1815. Temples and monasteries keeping Buddhist traditions alive can be found everywhere and they are fine examples of Buddhist influence in Sri Lanka today. Visit the Temple of the Scared Tooth Relic where it houses the tooth of Buddha that was brought to Sri Lanka in the 4th century. It is considered the country’s most prized possession. In the evening, catch a cultural show featuring the various dances of Sri Lanka. Then, return to your hotel for dinner
This morning, transfer to the railway station for your journey to Nuwara Eliya, otherwise known as Sri Lanka’s Little England, where it is set against a beautiful backdrop of mountains, valleys, waterfalls and tea plantations. It is one of the coolest places in Sri Lanka and the weather is reminiscent of springtime in England. Upon arrival, visit a tea plantation and factory where you can see how tea leaves are processed into the famous Ceylon tea. Next, make a stop and stroll thru a Strawberry Farm where you can purchase fresh strawberry and delicious strawberries foods products. In Sri Lanka strawberries are grown in open fields and poly tunnels. In Sri Lanka, Strawberries gives crops in 3 to 5 months. Thereafter, return back to Kandy
