Being the oldest temple in town, it has survived from the Siamese war of 1828. Next, proceed to one of the most impressive temple in Vientiane, Wat Ho Phra Keo. Constructed in 1565 by Lao royal family, it used to be the former home-temple of Emerald Buddha statue. Next, proceed to That Luang Stupa, the national symbol and the most sacred monument in the country.
