DAY 1 SINGAPORE – KOTA KINABALU – KLIAS WETLAND (Malay Village Style Buffet Dinner)
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Kota Kinabalu, capital of Sabah state. Located on the north of Borneo, it is one of the world’s three largest islands. Bestowed with natural scenery, you can admire picturesque and tranquil beaches, exciting tropical islands and statuesque mountains. Upon arrival, delight in shopping at Sabah’s largest shopping complex, 1Borneo HyperMall. Being Sabah’s most fashionable entertainment and leisure complex, it boasts a large cinema, bowling centre, international branded fashion and delectable food. In the afternoon, proceed to KLIAS Wetland, a mangrove forest reserve rich with river wildlife and birds. Upon arrival, enjoy an authentic Malay style afternoon tea amidst picturesque rustic surroundings. If the weather permits, take a ride in an electric-powered boat to embark on a journey in search of long nose Proboscis monkeys and admire the beautiful sunset. Today, take a ride in a speed boat to Manukan Island and be enthralled by the schools of colourful tropical fishes as you feed them at your own expense. Then, take a boat ride to Sapi Island. Its white sandy beaches, crystal clear water, colourful corals form the perfect picture of a tropical island paradise in travel posters. You are free to feed the colourful schools of fishes beneath the clear water, or use the complimentary snorkeling equipment provided to swim among them. You can also enjoy a leisure stroll or sunbathe on the white sandy beach. You may try other water activities like parasailing, water scooter riding, underwater walking and banana boating at your own expense. Thereafter, enjoy a sumptuous seafood buffet lunch of barbecued fish, prawns and crabs which comes complete with beverages on Sapi Island.
